The Creative Expressions presentation of grade VIII was based on the theme of ‘Margazhi’. The talented artists of grade VIII intricately wove the essence of Margazhi onto various mediums infusing the stage with vibrant shades of cultural symbolism. They began with a captivating visual art display followed by an energetic Silambam performance. The young actors took centre stage for a theatrical presentation, ‘Art for Art’s Sake’. In this play some important characters from the Mahabharata travelled in time to resolve interesting disputes faced by budding artists. The musicians of classical music sang Pasurams from the Thiruppavai. The dynamic western dancers concluded with a fusion performance.
