Grade IX learners demonstrated skills learnt in their Creative Expressions classes during their presentation. The learners of visual arts proudly showcased their sketches on the theme of ‘Pongal’. The Silambam participants displayed techniques like striking, blocking and footwork with a bamboo stick. The program began with a prayer followed by a play. The theatre artists of Hari Shree enacted a play on the mysterious disappearance of the Royal Pongal Pot. The musicians of the grade captivated the audience with a Tamizh number on Pongal. The theatre artists performed another play on customs, tradition and the importance of family. Finally, the dance performance was a fusion of various dance styles of India.
