The learners across all levels in the Senior Campus celebrated Pongal with an array of events. The event commenced with the reciting of the Aditya Hridayam as a salutation to Sun God. This was followed by a synchronized set of Surya Namaskars from the Primary. Sakkarai Pongal was prepared with all traditional fervour in the courtyard. The learners participated with love and care in the offerings to the sacred animal and farmer’s friend, the cow and its calf. They also captivated the audience with a mesmerizing Silambam performance. Later, all the learners got to enjoy juicy sugarcane, setting the tone for the special day.
