The grounds of Nehru Stadium came alive with a buzz of excitement and energy as the school celebrated its 18th Sports Day. The day was marked by dazzling displays and Track & Field events. A sense of sportsmanship filled the air. The day commenced with the March past, where all four houses displayed coordination, fervour and grace. After the athletes pledged their oath, the Olympic torch was lit. The mass drills, yoga displays and energetic silambam routines were showcased exceptionally. With determination and teamwork, each house aimed to break suspended clay pots amidst an atmosphere filled with excitement. Cheers from fellow students and teachers echoed as pots shattered, creating a thrilling spectacle. This cherished tradition not only celebrated culture but also fostered unity and sportsmanship, embodying the school’s motto, Vasudhaivakutumbakam.

On the Board & On the Floor

The inter house pin-up board and rangoli competition, organised for students in grades XI and XII, served as a catalyst for fostering creativity among the participants. The prescribed abstract theme, ‘Sustainable Freedom,’ elicited ingenious design concepts from the students, resulting in a visually captivating display. The events were characterised by enthusiastic participation from students, who engaged in the intricate processes of sketching, colour mixing, and application. Crafting a Rangoli design is undoubtedly a challenging endeavour, but it is worth noting that all four houses demonstrated exceptional prowess in their creations.
