Ms. Jasmine has over twenty years of experience as an educator. She has a rich experience of teaching CISCE curriculum for more than 17 years. She joined us a decade ago as a passionate Teacher and has stepped up year after year to take up additional responsibilities as a Subject Lead, Coordinator- ICSE & ISC, Vice Principal and now as the Principal.
Her qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications.
She is passionate about leading by example, inculcating a lifelong love for learning by creating a safe and happy environment true to the vision of the School.
Ms. Ganga has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, a postgraduate degree in English, a Bachelor’s in Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Administration and Supervision. She has been a passionate educator for 15 years and a Vice Principal for three years. Ganga has served as coordinator for the International School Award for the British Council and enjoys designing cross-curricular learning experiences with a global perspective. She believes the best learning happens in a joyful atmosphere and strives to nurture 21st century skills in students. She has been associated with debating for a decade and has been an adjudicator of debates at the international level.
Ms. Seethalakshmi is an enthusiastic teacher with a rich experience of over 23 years. She has taught Economics, Computer Science across the ICSE, CBSE and IGCSE curriculums. She has been associated with Hari Shree for the past 6 years. She believes in teaching from her heart and connecting one-on-one with her students. She strives to relate her teaching to real life scenarios.
Rohini is passionate about teaching Math and computer science and endeavours to get her students to learn with interest and involvement. She has a Master’s degree in software engineering. She is an enthusiastic facilitator always looking for ways to bring in best practices in teaching and learning. She believes all children are unique and one size doesn’t fit all. She identifies the different learning styles of students and ensures that every student’s unique academic needs are met. She believes in inquiry based learning as an approach to equip students with 21st century skills.
A postgraduate, Ms. Janani Iyer is a passionate history teacher and aspires to instill the same love for the subject in her students. She is a CICTL trained teaching practitioner and constantly seeks to create inquiry-based learning processes for children. She is also a strong advocate for independent learning and believes that when children develop the spirit for inquiry and the drive to explore they naturally enter into deeper learning and become lifelong learners. An avid reader and motivator, she creates the interest in teachers to work collaboratively to create authentic learning experiences for children.
Sathya is an enthusiastic and dedicated educator who wants all children to be successful learners. She thoroughly enjoys working with children and believes in creating stimulating classrooms that motivates the children to evolve holistically in all areas. She holds a Postgraduate Degree in Biochemistry with Bachelors in Education. Her classes include innovative practices in line with the twenty first century skills.
Vidhya has a Master’s degree in Education Management and has been a teacher for over 25 years. She loves working with primary school children and is passionate about teaching English and Social Studies. She is a team lead and contributes extensively in areas of alternate education, curriculum planning, lesson content creation, event organizing etc. She strongly believes teaching and learning should be a pleasure for the teacher and the student. Her teaching methods include creative, innovative and holistic aspects.
Ms. Abirami holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s in Industrial Relations. She is also a certified Montessori teacher. Introduced to Harishree as a parent, she was inspired to take up the Montessori teacher’s training, after observing her daughter work with the Montessori materials. She believes that understanding people is key to healthy interaction and mutual learning. She has been with Harishree for over 11 years and endeavours to create a learning environment of creativity and collaboration. She derives motivation from creating new learning materials based on the Montessori principles and strives to create a platform to share the same with her colleagues.
Ms. Hemamalini is an enthusiastic teacher who brings engaging lessons to the English classroom. A Cambridge certified teacher with a masters degree in English, B.Ed and 18 years’ experience in education, she is committed to a student centric approach in her teaching-learning practices. She strives to develop in students an appreciation for literature. She promotes clarity and excellence in communication, both written and verbal and makes it the focal point of her classroom.
Joel Francis is an enthusiastic and energetic teacher and an Alumnus of the Madras Christian College. He has been part of the Harishree family for the past three years. He loves connecting with students, challenging, and guiding their inquisitive minds to explore, discover, and learn through a nurturing and fun environment. He believes Sociology, as a subject is not just based on theories but is a mirror that reflects society with all its complexities and beauty. Joel encourages his students to have an open mind to learn. He is passionate about music, loves photography, organizing events & mentoring young minds.
A painter, illustrator, concept artist and an enthusiastic teacher, Mr. Dhiyaneshwaran holds a master’s degree Fine Arts with over six years of teaching experience and ten years of field experience with two State Awards. He enjoys creating art along with his students and takes pleasure in sharing his knowledge about the history and evolution of art with his students and peers. He encourages his his students to experience art and understand how it can impact their lives.
Charukesi joined Hari Shree in October 2015 and teaches Chemistry to the senior classes. She holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry and a Bachelors degree in Education. Interacting with young minds and engaging with students motivate her. Charukesi believes that the effort of a true educator should be towards unlocking the potential in every human being. She promotes the idea of a ‘thinking classroom’ and encourages her students to participate and contribute to the learning.
Ms. Aruna Kalyansundar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s in Human Resources, PGDMM from LIBA. She has rich experience in education, training and development, spanning over 20+ years. Her focus is on building a wide variety of pedagogical methods to suit different types of learners. She strives to make use of creative and innovative techniques while teaching her students. She believes every teacher is also a learner and looks for every opportunity to be more effective.
Manjula Baswa is a postgraduate in Microbiology and had her thesis published by the Faculty Press, Cambridge, Great Britain.She qualified with first class in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-I & Paper-II) conducted by CBSE and was also awarded Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning with a distinction in 2019. She is a passionate teacher and has successfully completed her training on Choice Theory, Reality Therapy and Lead Management which is the foundation behind Quality School & Quality Teacher concepts by Dr. William Glasser, USA.
Mathankumar is a dedicated and ambitious high school Math teacher. He holds a M Phil degree in Math and has more than 14 years of teaching experience. He is committed to create an atmosphere that encourages productive learning of Mathematical concepts. He endeavours to explain complicated Mathematical concepts in an easily understandable manner to keep his students engaged and take them along with him.
Parthiban is an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about providing positive learning experiences for young learners. A postgraduate in Applied Geography and a B.Ed. holder, he has been teaching Geography for 10 years. He strives to create a community of young learners in a positive and fun environment.
Leelavathy is a passionate and hardworking teacher. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications and a Bachelors in Physics. She believes in being supportive and approachable to her students. She motivates them to be independent thinkers and problem solvers. She is a proud recipient of an award for BEST VIRTUALIZATION in Teacherathon (2017). She places emphasis on Design Thinking in her classes and aims to empower her students to face the digital world with confidence and responsibility.
Mr. M.Dharani is a master’s in Tamil and is the head of the department. He has over 16 years of rich experience teaching Tamil. He believes in goal-oriented learning and encourages his students to do the same. He encourages his students to converse in Tamil and bring it to life in his classroom.
