The event was organized by the Tamil Department, with the enthusiastic participation of students, teachers, and the school administration. The event successfully reminded everyone of the enduring relevance and beauty of Tamil, a language that continues to flourish despite the passage of time.

Hari Shree’s MUN brought in committees and chairpersons like never seen before. Delegates of countries came together to form alliances, make bonds and word resolutions to find peaceful solutions to important world problems. It brought higher levels of knowledge and a feeling of involvement in the delegates in relation to current affairs and global issues.

The Investiture Ceremony for the newly elected members of the Student Council of this academic year took place in the presence of Lieutenant Colonel Bhavani Ravishankar. She addressed the learners of grade XI and XII, on the importance of leadership and the responsibility that each badge comes with. She congratulated the members of the Student Council and advised them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties.

Travelling Back in Time

 

Grade V learners recently delved into the evolution of mankind during a field trip to the Chennai Egmore Museum. They had the chance to examine exhibits such as sculptures, ancient coins, and historical weapons, gaining insights into human development and cultural evolution. This real-time experience allowed them to connect classroom learning with real-world artifacts, deepening their understanding of History and its impact on civilization.

Grade 4 – Field Trip to Egmore Museum

 

Learners of grade IV recently ventured into the past by visiting the Egmore Museum. This exploration allowed them to see and learn about the fascinating array of historical artifacts, from ancient coins to intricate sculptures, weapons, and ornaments. The trip offered a special opportunity for the students to connect with the ancient civilizations they’ve been studying, deepening their appreciation for our rich heritage. As they admired the relics, they also reflected on the importance of preserving these treasures for the future. This educational journey truly brought history to life for them, sparking a deeper interest in our past.

Farmguru

Grade 3 – Field Trip to Farm Guru

 

Grade III learners recently went on a hands-on adventure trip to Farm Guru as part of UTSAV field trip. Stepping into the shoes of ‘one-time farmers’, the children immersed themselves in farming activities that vividly brought the agricultural process to life. They eagerly took part in ploughing, sowing seeds, and pounding grain, gaining a real sense of the hard work that goes into farming. The experience was made even more enjoyable with tractor and bullock cart rides, adding a playful touch to their day. This trip helped the students gain a newfound respect for farmers and left them with lasting memories of the essential role farming plays in our lives.

CISCE Regional Cricket

 

The U-14 boys cricket team of Hari Shree participated in the CISCE Regional Cricket tournament and gave a tough fight till the quarter finals. Shravan kumar Ganesh of grade VIII is selected to represent the South zone at the Nationals.

CISCE Regional Football Tournament

 

Hari Shree’s U-14 boys team participated in the CISCE Regional Football tournament and played till the quarter finals. M V Maanav Mahesh from grade VIII received the best player award and also got selected for CISCE Nationals. The U-17 boys football team secured third place in the CISCE Regional Football tournament. V V Prahass, and Pranav Ganesh of grade X and Vivaan Dadha from grade XI are selected to represent South zone at the Nationals.

ASISC Literary Events – Zonals

 

A few students of Hari Shree participated in the ASISC literary zonals held in the month of July. Yashini of grade VIII and Vaathsalya Deepak of grade XI qualified for regional Creative Writing in the sub junior and senior category respectively. The duo, Hridhaan Shingvi of grade VIII and S. Tatthva of grade VI bagged the first place in the sub-junior Quiz event.

 

K. Lakshanaa of grade IX secured second place in the Declamation event. Adhrit and Kairav Ravindran Krishna represented the school in the Junior Debate and bagged the third place qualifying for the regionals. Sebastian Xavier and Nakshatha bagged the third place in the senior debate. All these students represented Hari Shree at the regionals.

CISCE Tennis

 

Tennis players of Hari Shree participated in the Under-14, Under-16 and Under-19 CISCE Tennis tournament under various categories. Arjun Pandian won the 3rd place in U-17 category and has qualified to play at the national level representing the South zone.
