On behalf of the administration and staff, welcome to Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam! As we step into the 8th academic session, I am excited about the direction we are heading.

While we continue with our commitment to enable our children to realize their maximum potential and equip them for life-long learning, our endeavor to promote a global mindset has also gained momentum.  Internationalism has been embraced with vigor and integrated into several aspects of the school to nurture our young citizens of the world. The school’s ongoing partnership with Holywell Primary School in Loughborough, UK and the school projects for the much-coveted International School Award are venues for cross-cultural sharing, involving the entire school community. This exposure and experience will certainly be a true learning journey for all of us.

Collaborative ventures with idiscoveri, Educational Initiatives, the British Council and other players in the educational arena have been enriching. As a progressive school, we will continue adopting sound educational programs and school practices that will contribute to enhancing the teaching-learning environment at Hari Shree Vidyalayam. As part of our efforts to ensure sustained professional development of our staff, we have initiated the book club that meets every 1^st Saturday of the month to share and learn collectively. Various in-service training programs for the staff are also in the pipeline and will be offered in the course of the year.

Establishing and maintaining a healthy relationship with the parent community is a key component to our success. Several program for parents have been introduced this year to serve as a platform for parents to get together and establish a network that will bring the administration, staff, children and the parent body closer together in reaching out to our children in the best way possible.
