Global Citizenship Exhibition

The Global Citizenship Exhibition was a platform for students to display their learning through the year. They demonstrated water conservation methods, waste management processes, making upcycled products etc. Students became teachers at hands-on work stations that taught how to make cloth pads, dhonnais, hand-made paper and paper-bags. They donned the role of an entrepreneur when they sold products that they conceived and created, like water saving kits, energy stickers, healthy recipe booklets, fitness calendars, in house compost, vertical garden DIY booklets and upcycled products from paper and coconut shells. A mime on the dire need for water conservation was thought provoking. The event was well received by parents, local resident representatives and media reporters who visited to understand the program and encourage the work of the students.
