ASSET is a skill-based diagnostic assessment conducted by Educational Initiatives (EI), an Ahmedabad based research organization, founded by a group of IIM-Ahmedabad alumni. Over 2500 leading schools in India, Gulf and Singapore have partnered with ASSET over the past 8 years.

Hari Shree Vidyalayam enrolls all its students from Class VII to X for this assessment. It provides our teachers detailed feedback along with a year-round school improvement program with specific ideas on helping our children in their learning and our teachers in improving their teaching methods.

It empowers our teachers to consolidate strength areas and to improve on specific areas of weakness and misconceptions (common to all students of a particular grade).

The test is objective-multiple-choice type and the duration is between 45 minutes to an hour for each subject. No preparation is required as the objective of the assessment is not to test the facts memorized by the students, but to test the understanding of the basic concepts that the students have imbibed over years of learning.

It is also worth noting that Duke University, USA (ranked as one of the top 10 universities in the US) has chosen performance in ASSET as one of its pre-selection parameters for its Duke Talent Identification Program (Class 7 and 8). For further information, please visit
