Archives – Independence Day

Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam celebrated India’s 70th Independence Day on 15th August with vibrant colours and a lot of energy.

The proceedings began with a prayer sung by the students. The Indian flag was hoisted by the Principal and the students pledged to be good citizens of India. Students embraced their love for their motherland as they sang the national anthem. Inspiring speeches by the Principal, Head Boy and Head Girl added to the patriotic atmosphere.

Students of class IX performed a street play based on the media and the right to put forth opinions. Sweets were also distributed to mark this special day.
