Archives – Diwali and Halloween

October 31, 2016

The festive clothes, the vibrant colours and the sound of laugher and joy filled the air at Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam on 31st October 2016, as we celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights.

During the lead up to the festival, students campaigned on staying away from bursting fireworks on Diwali, in order to preserve our future.

A medley of events were organised for the students, such as quizzes, Adzap and Channel Surfing. These events, in the form of inter-house competitions, brought out their competitive spirit and put to test the adaptive and thinking skills of the students.

For the first time, CHSV celebrated Halloween and it created a lot of excitement. The younger grades had a ramp walk where they dressed up on Diwali and Halloween based themes.
