With the blessings of Ishwara, Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam has
entered its 8th year with 875 children and 80 teachers. It was
inaugurated on 6th June 2004, by Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati in the
august presence of Dr. M.A.M. Ramaswamy, MP, my father-in-law, and my
late mother-in-law Smt. Sigapi Achi.
Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam provides holistic education. We
emphasize on all round development, striking a balance between academic
pursuits and personality development. We focus on helping the child
discover the joy of learning and imbibe the value of values. We strive
to bring out the best in them as they adopt a global perspective while
they stay rooted in our culture.
An enriching curriculum that enables the child to enjoy the learning
process and become independent learners, forms the academic foundation.
Active participation in sports, arts and cultural activities provide
numerous opportunities for the children to express themselves
creatively as they explore their potential.
The institution has come a long way since its inception. The
introduction of the X-Seed curriculum by idiscoveri that offers
experiential learning; Global School Partnerships and the ongoing
International School Award Projects; the annual cultural celebration,
Dhanur Vaibhav, a tribute to our artistic heritage, are
landmarks on our journey.
We aspire to establish Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam as a centre
of
excellence where children and staff take their abilities to a high
level of competence and are nurtured in the process.
We are indeed looking forward to the future growth of Chettinad Hari
Shree Vidyalayam. With the involvement and support of every member of the
Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam family we are confident that the school
will scale greater heights.
